SHOW AND TELL 4

Born in 1968, he lives and works in Milan. He studied at I.S.I.A., Urbino and at the International Center of Photography I.C.P. New York. He is collaborator for the editorial sector dedicated to architecture of the publishing house Skira and he has been publishing on magazines such as Abitare, Domus, Io donna, Courrier International. In 2007 he co-curated with E.Piccardo the book Soleritown on the work of architect Paolo Soleri and he won the Pesaresi/Contrasto prize with his photographic project OFF China. His work has been exhibited at Guangzhou Festival 2005, Lianzhou Festival, Rome Festival, 2009 with the work Waterfront. He exhibited at Venice International Architecture Biennale 2010, Italian pavillion, with the project 106 statale Jonica, and in 2014 with a work on the architecture by Caccia Dominioni in Milan, commissioned by architect Cino Zucchi. In 2012 his work Ville Palladiane was exhibited at Palladio Museum, Vicenza. Since 2011 he has been working on the long-term project on Mathare Nairobi ghetto, presented at MADE IN SLUMS\ NAIROBI within the Triennale di Milano in 2013.  In 2014 he realized a photographic research on the architecture by Thomas Jefferson in Virginia, commissioned by C.C.A., Montreal and Palladio Museum, Vicenza The work has been exhibited at Found in Translation, at Canadian Center for Architecture in Montreal the same year. The project is currently at Jefferson e Palladio come costruire un mondo nuovo at Palladio Museum, Vicenza. Since 2009 he is professor at the Master in Photography at Forma\ Naba, Milan.
