Franco Vaccari

Franco Vaccari is an italian artist and theorist. He acquired international fame at 1972 Venice Biennal, where he presented the famous work “Leave on these walls the photographic trace of your passage” (Exposition in real time, n.4) in the Italian pavillion. His works have been exhibited in several international museums, such as Museum Moderner Kunst, Wien, Gwangju Biennal, Korea. His essays Duchamp and the concealing of work (1978), Photography and technological inconscious (1979) and the more recent Duchamp naked. From ready-made to creative finance (2009) represent a significant contribution to the critical reflection about contemporary art.
